On January 5, the project of the National 863 Program "Coordinated Control Technology and Demonstration of Multi-type Energy Storage System" successfully passed the technical acceptance
organized by the High-tech Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
It is reported that the project is led by State Grid Jibei Electric Power Co.
, Ltd.
, with the participation
of China Electric Power Research Institute.
Configuring a certain proportion of multi-type energy storage devices in independent power grids with distributed generation can effectively improve the reliability of power grid operation, improve power quality, and improve the utilization efficiency
of distributed generation.
This topic carries out relevant research from four aspects: modeling and simulation research of multi-type energy storage systems, capacity allocation and optimization selection criteria of multi-type energy storage systems, coordinated control technology and energy status monitoring of multi-type energy storage systems, and cluster control and access device development, so as to provide technical support
for the coordinated control of multi-type energy storage systems.
Based on the National Wind and Solar Storage and Transmission Demonstration Project and the Rocky Island Microgrid Demonstration Project, the sub-project "Capacity Allocation and Optimization Selection Criteria for Multi-type Energy Storage Systems" undertaken by the China Electric Power Research Institute (EDRC) conducts an in-depth analysis
of the key technical issues in the field of energy storage systems to improve the access capacity of renewable power sources.
At present, the results of this project have been successfully applied to the national wind and solar storage and transmission demonstration project, and the results of the project have important guiding significance
for solving the bottleneck of new energy grid connection, leading the development of new energy industry and the application of large-scale multi-type energy storage technology.
