At 1:11 local time on the 10th, the coal-fired thermal power project unit with the largest total installed capacity in Bangladesh so far was successfully
connected to the grid for power generation.
This 275 MW coal-fired thermal power project in Baku undertaken by Harbin Power International, not only the three major main equipment such as generators, boilers and steam turbines are manufactured by China's Harbin Electric Group, but also the auxiliary equipment is provided by Chinese manufacturers, which is a typical Chinese manufacturing and Chinese construction project
.
It is understood that the Bangladesh Baku project is located in northwest Bangladesh, about 400 kilometers
away from the capital Dhaka.
This is the first coal power project signed between Harbin Power International and the Bangladesh Power Development Agency after the two gas projects in Tongji and Silette, Bangladesh, and the contract scope includes design, procurement, supply, civil engineering, installation, testing and 5 years of long-term service
.
According to the relevant person in charge, since the whole set of the project unit started the trial operation stage, the boiler ignition, unit rush speed and grid connection have all achieved a success, the system equipment runs smoothly, and the main operating parameters are all qualified
.
Once the 42-day reliability test of the Baku 275 MW coal-fired thermal power project is successful, the project will be quickly handed over to the owner for commercial operation
.
It is reported that the Baku 275 MW coal-fired thermal power project will not only play an important role in the development of Bangladesh's electric power, but also represent the successful "going global" of Chinese enterprises
