A submarine network containing four pairs of fibre sets can provide at least 40Tbps of capacity, reducing latency from Sydney to Singapore by around 30%
compared to existing paths.
The cable laying vessel Ile de Re of Alcatel Submarine Network is one of
two cable vessels engaged in submarine cable laying.

With the cable routing phase completed on time and without any delays, the project team is now in full system configuration mode where electrical and technical systems
