With the advent of 2021, the petroleum and chemical industries have also embarked on a new journey from large to strong in the "14th Five-Year Plan".
The "Guide" comprehensively summarizes the achievements and existing problems in the development of the industry during the 13th Five-Year Plan, analyzes the new environment facing the development of the industry in the 14th Five-Year Judging, researching and proposing the overall thinking, development goals, main tasks and work priorities of the industry development in the "14th Five-Year Plan", and at the same time clarifying the long-term goals of the industry's development in 2035.
The “Guide” puts forward that the general idea of the petrochemical industry development is to promote the high-quality development of the industry as the theme, focus on green, low-carbon, and digital transformation, and accelerate the construction of a new development that takes the domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international dual cycles promote each other.
In order to better help the industry to accurately exert force during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the "Guide" clarifies the seven main tasks of the industry, including enhancing oil and gas security capabilities, accelerating industrial structure adjustment, vigorously enhancing industrial innovation and self-improvement capabilities, and in-depth implementation Green development strategy, improve the level of digital and intelligent development, cultivate internationally competitive enterprises, enterprise groups and petrochemical parks, and build a new pattern in which domestic and international cycles are the mainstay and the mutual promotion of domestic and international cycles.
The "Guide" also particularly emphasizes that the petrochemical industry must speed up the development of the new chemical material industry when it vigorously enhances its ability to innovate independently.
The "Guide" also clarifies the long-term goal of the industry's development in 2035, that is, my country's petroleum and chemical industry can build a modern industrial system, further consolidate its position among the world's petrochemical powers, and greatly increase production efficiency, economic benefits, and international competitiveness.
