The 100 million ton oilfield Kenli 6-1 oilfield center processing platform was successfully completed mechanically

On December 9, it was learned from CNOOC Tianjin Branch and Offshore Oil Engineering Company that the Bohai Oilfield will achieve the mechanical completion of the new 100 million ton oilfield Kenli 6-1 oilfield center processing platform in 2022, marking key progress in oilfield construction, and the pace of oilfield production has accelerated again, which is of great significance
to promoting domestic oil and gas reserves and production and ensuring national energy security.

Kenli 6-1 oilfield is China's largest crude oil production base Bohai Oilfield is the largest crude oil production project under construction in 2022, with proven geological reserves of more than 100 million tons, which is the first 100 million ton lithological large oilfield discovered by the low-convex shallow exploration and discovery of Bohai Laibei, which is the main oilfield of CNOOC's "7-year action plan" and Bohai Oilfield's "upper output of 40 million tons", which can be used for 1 million cars for more than 20 years
after completion and production.

As the core oil and gas processing platform of the southern Bohai Oilfield Group, the Kenli 6-1 Oilfield Center Processing Platform will be associated with 15 platforms in five oilfields, including Kenli 6-1, Bozhong 35-2 and Bozhong 29-6, after it is put into operation, providing strong support
for optimizing resource utilization and maximizing regional development benefits.

Kenli 6-1 Oilfield Center Processing Platform is an 8-legged central processing platform loaded with more than 130 sets of equipment, including an 80-person living building, with a design weight of 15,500 tons, equivalent to the weight of nearly two Eiffel Towers, and is the heaviest buoyant block
in Bohai Oilfield so far.
The length of the pipeline is 22,000 meters, the total length of the cable is 350,000 meters, and the set of machinery and equipment is 175 sets, all of which are the "best in the Bohai Sea"
in recent years.

Since the start of construction in 2021, CNOOC's project team has overcome multiple difficulties such as short construction period, large volume, late arrival of key materials, and tight resources, strengthened quality and safety control, closely followed the main line of construction progress, innovatively implemented the double-layer prefabrication and assembly process, implemented the integrated construction process, and improved the efficiency of deck sheet prefabrication and final assembly.
The innovative use of the segmented construction mode of living buildings reduced the lifting workload by three-fifths, and finally completed the construction of the block land including the living building in only 11 months, which won time for the offshore installation of the platform
.

During the offshore installation, faced with challenges such as the large weight and size of the buoy block and the intricate submarine pipeline in the target sea area, the project team applied digital tools to conduct three-dimensional modeling and computational analysis, accurately designed the buoyant technical scheme, independently developed the multi-pontoon catenary calculation software, repeatedly optimized the mooring arrangement, and realized the upper block in place accurately at one time through multi-tugboat linkage control ship, creating a new record
for the construction of floating support for large offshore oil and gas platforms in confined space and complex submarine environment.

Since the start of the land construction of the Kenli 6-1 Oilfield Center Processing Platform, the project has actively promoted the follow-up facilities and offshore construction of pipelines and cables of Kenli 6-1 Oilfield through the improvement of grassroots basic management, contributing wisdom and strength
to the early commissioning of the project and the high-quality development of Bohai Oilfield.
