The Hollandse Kust (West) wind farm off the coast of the Netherlands has a capacity of 1,400 MW and tenders will open
on April 14 next year.
On December 23, the Dutch Ministry of Economic and Climate Policy published the first draft
of orders for two sites VI and VII in the zone.
Consultation and feedback will be received by January 11, after which the final version of the order will be published
in the Official Gazette.
The tender for development permits for these sites will close on May 12, 2022, and the winners are expected to be announced after the summer of the same year

Enterprise Netherlands said it would organize an online information session
on the tender on Jan.

Notably, this tender adds a financial tender
capped at €50 million.
If a bidder bids €50 million to obtain a license, the bidder will receive the highest score
for the financial bid.
A lower bid will result in a reduction of points
for every €2.
5 million reduced.
According to the plan, the wind farm is expected to be commissioned
in 2025/2026.
