Recently, Teknor Apex Germany has developed a series of engineered glass-filled polypropylene (PP) with an elastic modulus of 11,000 MPa and a heat distortion temperature HDT (45MPa) of 160.

According to reports, the material has the following characteristics: the material is easy to process (even when using existing molds); the shrinkage performance is similar to PA; the process is more environmentally friendly, and there is no need to pre-dry the material, and the melting temperature, processing temperature, and mold temperature are better than using Low PA; very good dimensional stability (non-hygroscopic); thermal aging (130°C/3000 hours) and UV stable; excellent appearance quality; laser marking capabili.
