Continental Structural Plastics (CSP), a global leader in highly complex composite automotive components, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AMI's stamping operations in Manchester, Michig.
AMI is able to handle a wide variety of metal stamping projects and provides in-house engineering support, producing welded parts and assembling light fixtur.
"CSP currently purchases a variety of stamped metal parts to complete the assembly of multiple components," said Steve Rooney, the company's chief executi.
Under the terms of the agreement, the AMI Manchester facility will be renamed CSP Stamping (legal name Continental Structural Plastics Manchester, LLC) and will be operationally part of CSP, which is wholly owned by Teij.
Founded in 1969, CSP has 4,300 employees in 18 factories on three continen.
