Upcycling
Upcycling Feedstock testing of Teijin Aramid UHMWPE (Endumax®) was conducted at Clariter's operational pilot plant in Gliwice, Poland

The results showed that the chemical recovery method was suitable for samples such as fishing nets, ropes and air cargo containers
.
UHMWPE, which was once difficult to recycle, has been successfully upgraded as a raw material, and has become a pure, crude oil-free industrial product that is successfully used in a variety of products - such as detergents, degreasers, coatings and specialty wax
.
For some applications, such as fishing nets, the results of this research mean that a full cycle can be created because the wax can be reused in the coating of fishing nets

In other markets, this open loop recovery yields valuable products that can be used in remanufacturing or other applications
