Recently, Taiwan Province of China has announced the winner of the competition for offshore wind projects, in order to successfully complete the goal
of building more than 1.
6GW of offshore wind farms by 2025.
It is understood that a total of two developers were selected, with a total capacity of 1,664MW.
Among them, Hailong 2 project No.
1, with an allocated capacity of 232MW; Hailong 2 Project No.
1, with an allocated capacity of 232MW; Southwest Taichung, with an allocated capacity of 337.
1 MW, and northwest Changchun, with a capacity of 582.

As early as June 22, Taiwan Province has completed the bidding work
for the offshore wind power planning site.
In addition to obtaining clean electricity, Taiwan's Industrial Administration will steadily promote the transformation of domestic manufacturing and service industries, develop local energy supply chains, create greater output value and more jobs, and drive the overall economy

Taiwan also plans to allocate 5.
5GW
of installed wind capacity by the end of 2025.
These wind projects are expected to create about 20,000 jobs and reduce carbon emissions by 10.
