Suzlon Energy, one of the leading renewable energy solution providers, announces that the world's first photovoltaic power plant solar project quality certificate has been awarded to the Veltoor solar power project in Trongana, which is jointly owned
by Suzlon and CLP India.
It is understood that the certificate was awarded
by DNV GL, a global quality assurance and risk management company.
This certification is carried out
in accordance with the certification of the project "DNVGL-SE-0078" of the service specification for photovoltaic power plants.
It is the world's first and currently the only global guide
to the certification of solar PV projects.
DNV GL granted the Veltoor solar power project certification that meets all the relevant safety features required for the solar park and certifies that the project meets globally recognized standards for technical compliance
.
The certification process includes a holistic assessment of the asset, an in-depth review of the design foundation, design, grid code compliance, manufacturing process, transportation and installation, commissioning, and optional service phases
.
