On July 26, 2016, solar PV inverter manufacturer Sungrow Co.
, Ltd.
announced that its 4 MW solar PV project was successfully connected to the grid
under extremely harsh conditions.
This project is located in Ukraine and uses Sungrow SG60KTL string inverter project
.
The PV plant is located in Vysokopillya, southern Ukraine, an area with heavy rainfall, frequent snowfall and freezing rain that poses great challenges
to solar inverters.
Sungrow pointed out that the working conditions of the SG60KTL inverter have been rigorously tested
due to temperatures below zero for many months a year.
The SG60KTL inverter works stably in weather conditions from -25°C to 60°C, and this project has proven to work
consistently in extreme weather conditions like Vysokopillya.
Renxian Cao, President of Sungrow, said: "The Vysokopillya project demonstrates the versatility of our inverters and can be deployed
in any weather and latitude conditions.
