State Grid’s "Five Stations and Five Lines" New Energy Convergence Project was put into operation

The "Five Stations and Five Lines" New Energy Convergence Project of the State Grid, located in Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia, was officially put into operation recently.

It is understood that the project is nearly 1,600 kilometers long, with more than 2,900 iron towers, and provides an outbound channel for 36 wind farms with a total of 7 million kilowatts of installed capacity.

The "Five Stations and Five Lines" New Energy Convergence Project is another important landing project to implement the new energy security strategy of General Secretary Jinping’s "Four Revolutions, One Cooperation", accelerate energy transformation, and promote green and low-carbon development.

During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, State Grid Mengdong Power continued to increase investment in the power grid, speeding up the construction of UHV and related transmission channels, and has now completed and put into operation 6 transmission channels including "Four-pass and three-direct" UHV , 12 circuits, strong services to support the development of local new energy and external transmission.
