Sharp announced on June 27 that it will launch the LN-CA2A, a solar charging pile that can easily charge mobile phones with photovoltaic power generation

It is scheduled to be released on
August 25.
Charging piles using photovoltaic power generation systems were first installed in Tokyo in October 2015, and the number of installations is expected to increase
in the future.
By installing sightseeing spots, public facilities, and commercial facilities, it is possible to meet the charging needs
of tourists and facility users.
It can also be charged
by local residents in the event of a power outage.
The charging pile is equipped with two high-efficiency solar panels manufactured by Sharp "BLACKSOLAR" (output power of 184W or more) and storage batteries (three batteries with an output voltage of 12V and a capacity of 38Ah), which is a stand-alone charging system
that can be operated without being connected to an existing power source.
The power generated by the photovoltaic power generation system is stored in the battery during the day, and it can also be charged
during the day and night when the amount of sunlight is low.
The LED lights automatically light up after sunset for up to 14 hours
.
There are 4 charging ports, and if each phone is charged for 15 minutes, it can provide the power
used by 60 mobile phones.
The charging pile is about 4m high, can withstand a wind speed of 60m/s, and the working temperature range is -15°C~40°C
.
