China Petrochemical News Network reported on May 13, Southwest Oil and Gas Branch adopted the new forced sand fracturing technology to implement two wells on the Weiye 24 platform that have entered the drainage phase for 65 days, with an average daily gas transmission volume of 119,000 cubic meters.

Aiming at the problems of Weirong deep shale gas reservoirs such as deep burial, high formation stress, high fracturing construction pressure, and difficulty in adding sand, Southwest Oil and Gas Branch further researched key projects on the basis of the second-generation deep shale gas volume fracturing technology.

So far, the average wellhead pressure of the two wells has been 43.

Since 2015, Southwest Oil & Gas Branch has completed fracturing operations of 100 shale gas horizontal wells, with a cumulative gas production of 1.
