Solar tracker company Soltec will supply 90 megawatts of trackers
to solar projects in the Guanajuato and Aguascalientes regions of Mexico.
It was revealed that Soltec will supply and install 3,019 SF7 tracker devices at two plants with 22MW and 68MW capacity, and will install
them by the end of this year.
The company now offers products with a capacity of more than 2 GW to the Latin American market
.
The CEO of Soltec said, "These two projects in Latin America build on
Soltec's successful track record there.
Our solar trackers enable higher yields and greater site fill options, as well as reduced material and labor costs, all of which combine to achieve the highest level of customer success
.
”
Soltec's Vice President of Sales added, "Meeting strict delivery deadlines is a challenge
that Soltec has prepared for our warehousing and logistics system, Solhub.
Solhub offers instant packaging of field-assembled tracker components and is prepared for
minimal on-site material handling.
”
Soltec also opened the first Bifacial Tracking Evaluation Center (BiTEC) in Livermore, California to further scientifically evaluate the performance of bifacial PV modules and the tracking performance
of single-axis trackers.
