(5) Pre-processing and interference elimination
1.
(1) Sample collection and storage
Collect and preserve soil samples in accordance with relevant regulations of HJ/T166, and collect and preserve sediment samples in accordance with relevant regulations of CB17378.
(2) Determination of moisture
The dry matter determination of soil samples is performed in accordance with HJ613, and the moisture content of sediment samples is performed in accordance with GB17378.
(3) Preparation of samples
Remove the branches, leaves, stones and other foreign matter in the sample.
2.
Spectral interferences: mass spectrum interference including polyatomic ions, isobaric interference, oxides and doubly charged ions interference
Non-spectral interferences: including non-spectral interference matrix the interference suppression, interference space charge effects, physical effects like interference
Table 5-45 Common polyatomic ion interference
Table 5-46 Commonly used interference correction equations in ICP-MS determination
Note 1: "M" is a general element symbol
Note 2: Under the condition that the instrument is equipped with a collision reaction cell, when the collision reaction cell technology is used to eliminate interference, the above interference correction equation can be ignored
