Recently, SMA Solar Technologies announced that it has been commissioned by Australia to supply 1.
8GW of solar inverters, bringing its utility-scale PV plant installation base in Australia to more than 2GW.
These inverters will be deployed in all states and territories
of mainland Australia.
"Whether in homes or in large PV plants, trends across the industry suggest that solar power systems are becoming a major player
in Australian energy production," said the Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific/North America Sales.
