Bilbao-based Siaiyi Automotive will leverage investment from the European Investment Bank to develop hybrid lightweight materials, as well as design and manufacture new EV components

Siyi Automotive Components aims to use new digital production processes to improve energy efficiency
by recycling and reusing raw materials.
The company will invest funds in its factories
in Spain, France, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Lithuania.

The investment will help create jobs and will be implemented over a five-year period until 2022
