Compared with conventional alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production, the project adopts proton membrane electrolysis water hydrogen production process, with a daily output of 1.

According to reports, the project is a 2021 Sinopec scientific research demonstration project, and was listed by Sinopec as a major scientific and technological research project of hydrogen energy technology on August 26

The project is led by China Crude Oil Field and jointly constructed
by Dalian Petrochemical Research Institute, Guangzhou Engineering Co.
