It is understood that the intelligent warehouse went online for trial operation on July 10 this year.
According to Zou Rui, assistant to the chief of the supply and distribution section of the company’s material procurement center, according to the original staffing in the full warehouse, a team of 7 to 8 people is required.
While saving labor, the intervention of the robot management system has also caused a fundamental change in the picking mode of the traditional manual warehouse.
Zou Rui said: "The traditional warehousing operation mode is "people looking for goods", which is to manually search for materials in the warehouse based on the location information of the materials.
In 2019, Shanghai Petrochemical launched an intelligent material management system, initially realizing intelligent management of materials from procurement to use.
After Shanghai Petrochemical's new intelligent material warehouse was put into use, the company's material supply chain initially realized the entire process of intelligent management, becoming the first embryonic application scenario of the Shanghai Petrochemical intelligent factory under construction.
