On the 26th, the world's first high-sulfur bio-reef gas field with a depth of more than 7,000 meters-Sinopec Yuanba Gas Field's cumulative natural gas production exceeded 20 billion cubic meters.
This was learned by the reporter from Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Bureau Co.
Located in the three cities of Guangyuan, Nanchong and Bazhong in Sichuan Province, the Yuanba gas field has the deepest well depth of 8,100 meters, average well depth of 7,368 meters, maximum underground temperature of 160 degrees Celsius, high formation pressure, small and scattered reefs, and difficult development.
Guo Tonglou, general manager of Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Bureau Co.
Guo Tonglou said that the high-efficiency and green development of Yuanba Gas Field has filled the gap in the development of ultra-deep bio-reef gas fields in China, and has provided successful experience for the large-scale and beneficial development of ultra-deep oil and gas resources in my country and the world.
The Yuanba gas field, which was put into operation in December 2014, has proven, controlled and predicted tertiary geological reserves of more than 1.
The reporter learned from the Sinopec News Office that the national oil and gas resource evaluation results during the 13th Five-Year Plan period showed that deep (burial depths of 3500 meters to 4500 meters) and ultra-deep layers (burial depths of more than 4500 meters) accounted for 50.
