On January 26, the Sinopec Information Office announced that two key exploration wells deployed by Sinopec Northwest Oilfield in the Shunbei Oil and Gas Field in the Tarim Basin obtained high-yield industrial oil and gas flows

The Shunbei Oil and Gas Field is located in the central and western part of the Tarim Basin.

In 2020, the Shunbei Oil and Gas Field will have a production capacity of one million tons

The Tarim Basin is the largest inland petroleum-bearing basin in China, with a basin area of 560,000 square kilometers
