Recently, Sinopec has developed an 8-micron biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film, filling the gap in the lightweight development of similar domestic products

The research results were jointly developed by Sinopec Sales North China Co.

, Beijing Chemical Research Institute and Qingdao Refinery and Chemical Company

Chemical Sales North China takes advantage of the integration mechanism of production, marketing, research and application, and has cooperated with Beihua Chemical Research Institute and Qingdao Refining and Chemical Co.
, Ltd.
to provide on-site technical guidance on process parameter optimization, improvement of additive formula, etc.
, and provide information feedback during the trial process.
The product processing parameters solve the problems of red cross section of the finished film in summer, and wrinkles on the palletized film surface of long and wide products

After nearly a year of hard work, Sinopec finally succeeded in producing the thinnest recyclable BOPP film in China with a thickness of only 8 microns

The film can be widely used in the outer packaging of cosmetics, agricultural and sideline products, toys, and handicrafts.
Compared with the traditional 10-12 micron BOPP film, it has better transparency, environmental protection and cost advantages
