On April 6, Sinochem International announced that the project with an annual output of 40,000 tons of nylon 66 and 25,000 tons of intermediate hexamethylene diamine, which was built by the company invested 978 million yuan, has fully completed the mid-term handover of the plant and is about to enter the commissioning stage.
The industry believes that after the project is completed and put into production, it will rely on innovative production processes to effectively break through the "short supply" problem of China's nylon 66 and key intermediates, and provide high-quality nylon 66 materials and key intermediates for the Chinese market.
From the perspective of the industry, nylon 66 is widely used in the field of high-end engineering plastics and high-end industrial fibers due to its high mechanical strength and good fiber elasticity, and has become a prosperous track in the field of new materials in China
It is understood that, as an important platform for the material science sector of Sinochem in China, Sinochem International focuses on the field of national new materials to "make up for shortcomings".
According to Sinochem International, the technology has been fully verified by small and pilot tests, and the key indicators such as the purity, chromaticity and polarographic value of the prepared hexamethylenediamine products are at the leading level in the industry, and the quality of nylon 66 products also meets the requirements of industry-leading products.
From the perspective of the project process, in September 2020, Sinochem International, relying on the innovative production process of hexamethylenediamine, combined with the advantages of steam and natural gas in the western region, invested in the construction of Ningxia Zhongwei with an annual output of 40,000 tons of nylon 66 and 25,000 tons per year.
According to Sinochem International's forecast, the project will bring new sales revenue of 886 million yuan to the company every year after it is put into operation, and can realize a total annual profit of 99.
According to the previous company plan, the company will focus on promoting "strengthening the chain, supplementing the chain and extending the chain" with the thinking of the industrial chain this year.
