Nashville-based solar supplier Silicon Ranch Corporation has partnered with Green Power EMC to expand its solar portfolio in Georgia with plans to complete a 194MW(AC) solar project
    by 2021.

The new solar capacity will include utility-scale, single-axis tracking solar arrays
spread across four locations in central and southern Georgia.
At present, each facility has selected points for successful negotiation of all agreements
    with local government entities.
Upon completion in 2021, the total solar portfolio will generate enough electricity to economically serve
    approximately 35,000 EMC homes.

This 194MW(AC) solar project, together with the recently announced separate 200MW (solar) solar procurement project, will more than
double the current renewable capacity acquired by Georgian cooperatives.
EMCs' 245MW(AC) solar portfolio in 2018 will rise to approximately 639MW(AC)
by completion of construction in 2021.

Under the agreement, Silicon Ranch will own and operate solar facilities, and Green Power EMC will purchase solar electricity
produced over a 30-year period on behalf of 30 electric cooperative members.
Construction of the solar project is expected to begin by the end of this year
