    On January 18, Royal Dutch Shell said it, along with Scottish Power, won a bid to develop a 5 gigawatt floating offshore wind farm on the east and northeast coast of Scotland


    It is reported that the new wind farm will be operated through two new joint ventures called MarramWind and CampionWind and will be the first large floating offshore wind farm in the world


    Wael Sawan, Shell Integrated Gas, Renewables and Energy Solutions Director, said: “Shell and Scottish Power now look forward to large-scale floating wind in the UK, accelerating the country’s transition to net zero emissions
