    Shell sells equity in Philippine gas fields

    Sinochem Shell recently stated that it has agreed to sell its 45% stake in the Malampaya natural gas field off the Philippine Sea to Udenna for a price of US$460 million.


    Shell said the company has signed an agreement to sell Shell Philippine Exploration Company.


    It is reported that Shell will receive a basic consideration of US$380 million, plus a maximum of US$80 million from 2022 to 2024, depending on asset performance and commodity prices.
