On July 20, the official website of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision announced the results
of the 2018 Shanghai wire and cable (non-certificate) product quality supervision and random inspection.
This time, 3 batches of products were randomly inspected, and all of them were qualified
after inspection.

This supervision spot check is based on the GB/T 12706.

5 PVC insulated cable wires and flexible wires with rated voltage 450/750V and below Part 5: Shielded wires" and enterprise standards and other requirements, the structural dimensions, physical and mechanical properties, electrical properties, high and low temperature performance, combustion performance and other items related to safety of
the product.
Key performance indicators include: insulation and sheath thickness, conductor resistance, voltage experiment, tensile force before and after insulation and sheath aging, sheath thermal weight loss, XLPE insulation thermal extension and heat shrinkage, single and bundle combustion, etc
