According to the Administrative Measures for the Expansion of Chemical Parks in Shandong Province (Trial), the "expansion" of chemical parks must meet a number of "hard indicators" such as a comprehensive assessment score of not less than 80 points, the operating income of the park's leading industries accounting for more than 60% of the park's total operating income, the average output value of completed projects is not less than 3 million yuan, the developed and utilized area is not less than 80% of the existing area of the park, and no major or above environmental emergencies have occurred within two years.
The expansion area must comply with relevant national regulations and meet relevant requirements
such as planning, safety, and environmental protection.
Parks that meet the conditions for expansion and pass the provincial examination will be uniformly announced by the provincial government for the new area and four to the scope
