Shandong accelerates the development of high-end chemical industry, establishes industrial funds and project funds with a total value of 12.5 billion

On December 15, the Information Office of the Provincial Government held the tenth series of press conferences on the theme of "Achievements during the 13th Five-Year Plan" to introduce the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry during the 13th Five-Year Plan.

As we all know, Shandong occupies a pivotal position in the national chemical industry territory, forming a "seven sectors" industrial system of refining, chemical fertilizers, inorganic chemicals, organic chemicals, rubber processing, fine chemicals, and synthetic materials.

In response to the above problems, Shandong has been vigorously promoting the structural adjustment of the chemical industry for many years, launching a five-year special action for the transformation and upgrading of the chemical industry’s safe production, vigorously advancing the “big, fast and strict” emergency action, and promptly introducing the “eight decisive measures”.

Shandong has also formulated chemical parks, specialized chemical parks, and key monitoring points certification management measures, and strictly organized park certifications.

Shandong has compiled the "Shandong High-end Chemical Industry Development Plan", organized a high-end chemical industry special class, established a high-end chemical industry development promotion association, established a sound "6 1" promotion system, and established 11 industrial funds and projects with a total of 12.

After three years of special actions and rectification, there are currently 2,847 chemical companies above designated size in the province, of which 4 are over 50 billion yuan and 47 are over 10 billion yuan.
