Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender
for 250MW of solar capacity at Dondaicha Solar Park (Phase 1) in Dhule, Maharashtra.
The capacity will be divided into five 50MW projects each, built on a build-your-own-operate (BOO) basis
.
The electricity procured by SECI from the project will be sold to the state Discom Maharashtra Power Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will be signed for a period of 25 years with a maximum tariff of Rs 2.

Bidders can only bid on a single tariff
for all projects they bid for.
Recently, SECI has been focusing on tenders for interstate transmission system (ISTS) projects outside of solar parks, but the government's solar park plans are still ongoing, targeting 40GW
by 2021-22.
SECI has also launched a tender
for 750MW of grid-connected solar projects in Rajasthan.
