Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for another 3GW solar project for interstate transmission system (ISTS) connectivity in India
.
Under the Choice Application (RfS) document, SECI will sign a 25-year PV capacity purchase agreement (PPA) with a maximum electricity price fixed at Rs 2.

The project tender includes the design, supply, construction, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning
of the project.
The minimum project capacity is 50MW, and each bidder can bid for a maximum capacity of 1.

The Ministry of Electricity recently issued regulations that solar buyers can choose to give developers more time to secure financing, transmission connectivity and completion of projects
that have not yet been auctioned.
