Recently, Scatec Solar announced that it has acquired two new solar projects in Ukraine with a total capacity of 121MW
.
The projects will be realized under the country's feed-in tariff (FiT) scheme, where solar power plants are expected to generate about 155,000 MWh of electricity
per year.
It is understood that the project land will be leased from the local municipality for an extended period of time
.
The total capital expenditure for the project is estimated at €137 million
.
The power grid connection of the plant is expected to end by the end
of 2019.
Scatec Solar will be the main equity investor in the project and hopes to secure additional equity partners
.
Scatec Solar will become an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) provider providing operations and maintenance and asset management services
to power plants.
