Recently, Scatec Solar announced the completion
of financing for the 47 MW Redsol solar project in Malaysia.
The project is expected to provide 67 GWh of electricity per year and generate annual revenues of approximately $6 million
.
The project is being realized in conjunction with Fumas (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a US- and Malaysia-based asset management and development company focused on renewable energy
in South and Southeast Asia.
The Redsol project was awarded in Malaysia's second large-scale solar tender in December 2017 and will be Scatec Solar's fourth solar power plant
in the country.
"With this project, we will continue to strengthen our position as Malaysia's leading independent solar power producer and as a long-term partner
in achieving the country's renewable energy targets," said the CEO of Scatec Solar.

Scatec Solar will provide 100% of the project equity
.
In addition, the company is a turnkey EPC supplier that will provide operation and maintenance and asset management services
for power plants.
Construction of the grid is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of
2019.
