According to ICIS Singapore on October 25, Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil exporter, aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across all its operations by 2050

The company said in a statement that details of the plan will be disclosed in the company's sustainability report, due in the second quarter of next year

The company's goal is in line with Saudi Arabia's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2060

Saudi Aramco President and CEO Nasser said: “The road ahead will be complex as the world’s transition to a more sustainable energy future will require collective action and major technological breakthroughs
