Saudi Arabia has become the largest scrap aluminum export center
in the East.
According to relevant data, Saudi Arabia exports a total of 211045 tons of scrap aluminum
to the world.
The main buyers are India, Pakistan, South Korea, Brazil and the United States
.
The country also sells large amounts of scrap metal
inside the UAE.
It is worth noting that India alone has purchased 107248 tons of scrap aluminum
.
In 2016, Saudi Arabia is expected to export 232862 tonnes of aluminium scrap, and these countries remain the largest buyers
.

3% year-on-year, while India's scrap imports are expected to reach 117855 tonnes

From January to June this year, Saudi Arabia has exported about 116,080 tons of scrap aluminum, an increase of 7.

Ma'aden Aluminium (MA), a joint venture between Saudi Arabian Mining Corporation and Alcoa, started production
in 2014.
MA facilities include a bauxite, an alumina refinery, an aluminium smelter, a can sheet rolling plant and an automotive industry plant

Ma'aden's rolling mills produce 380,000 tonnes of rolled products per year, such as food-grade can sheets and products
for the construction industry.
MA also has a can recycling unit, which can recycle 120,000 tons of waste cans per year, which is expected to promote the development of
Saudi Arabia's recycling industry.
