RWE plans to invest up to €15 billion in its domestic core business by 2030 to accelerate the expansion

    .

The new offices to be opened in the Berlin, Düsseldorf, Mainz, Heilbronn/Stuttgart and Augsburg/Munich metropolitan areas as well as in Leipzig and Rostock will expand RWE's regional presence
    .

The Essen-based energy company already operates more than 580 megawatts of onshore wind farms in its home market and is working on more wind projects
    .
Three PV energy storage projects in open-pit mines in the Rhine region are currently under construction, with one of the parks expected to come online

The other two will be launched
    in 2023.
