Russia's January-July polypropylene production up 24%

According to a report by MRC ScanPlast, Russian polypropylene (PP) production in January-July 2020 increased by 24% year-on-year to 1.
1 million tonnes following the start-up of the ZapSibNeftekhim complex

From January to July 2020, SIBUR Tobolsk produced 260,000 tons of polypropylene, down 9% year-on-year; ZapSibNeftekhim, also located in Tobolsk, produced 241,700 tons in the first seven months of 2020

Omsk Poliom produced 94,000 tonnes of polypropylene in the January-July period, down 13%

Tomskneftekhim's production was 90,000 tonnes, a slight increase year-on-year

Kapotnya's Neftekhimiya produced 87,900 tonnes of polypropylene in the first seven months of 2020, up 6% year-on-year

Stavrolen (a Lukoil subsidiary) produced 68,800 tonnes of polypropylene during the period, a slight increase from last year
