According to the MRC ScanPlast report, Russia's high-density polyethylene (HDPE) production fell 5% year-on-year in the January-September period, with three-quarters of producers reducing outp.
In the first nine months of 2019, total HDPE production was 695,200 tons, compared to 731,700 tons in the same period last ye.
A slight increase in production in Tatarstan was not able to offset the reductions in the other three produce.
Russian HDPE production fell to 45,900 tonnes in September from 84,300 tonnes a month earlier, due to maintenance shutdowns at the Stavrolen and Kazanorgsintez production sit.
