Recently, Risen Energy Energy will develop up to 300MW of solar projects
for cryptocurrency miners in Spain.
It is understood that the company aims to power each of its mining facilities with renewable energy to offset the growing criticism
of cryptocurrencies and their carbon footprint.
The first phase will see two farms in the province of Seville powered by three photovoltaic plants, totaling 45 MW
.
Risen Energy will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction responsibilities
of the project.
The project is funded by the issuance and sale of cryptocurrency tokens on the farm and is based on a 15-year power purchase agreement
