Recently, PV project developer Rene Sola has completed long-term project financing to develop 8MW of KAT-licensed PV projects
in Hungary.
KAT is Hungary's feed-in tariff scheme
.
It is understood that the photovoltaic project consists of 14 separate solar power plants, each with a power generation capacity of 0.
5MW.
All installations are expected to be operational
in October 2018.
Financing for the project was provided by K&H Bank, one of Hungary's largest banking and financial services companies
.
Chairman and CEO of ReneSola said, "Hungary is an important market
for solar power in the EU.
This financing is a testament to the quality of our projects and strengthens our capabilities
.
We look forward to continued growth in Hungary as we raise funds and build more PV project portfolios
in the coming months.
