Sinochem News On March 18, the Southwest Research Institute signed a contract with a South Korean chemical company for the design, supply of special equipment and technical services for a carbon dioxide (CO₂) capture and purification device with a production scale of 100,000 tons/year
The project adopts the proprietary pressure swing adsorption technology of the Southwest Research Institute to concentrate the carbon dioxide in the exhaust gas from the S-Oil refinery from 55.
Since 2009, Southwest Research Institute has built several sets of carbon dioxide capture and purification plants in South Korea, all of which have been operating safely and stably for a long time.
