A few days ago, Qoros officially said that it will release a new energy strategic plan
in early 2016.
Jiangsu Provincial Environmental Protection Department revealed that Qoros will add a new D platform DF11 model, while the C&D platform will produce a hybrid product CF16H and DF16H
respectively.
After the successful launch of these new cars, the number of Qoros products will increase to seven
.
According to the plan, the Qoros automotive technical transformation project, with a total investment of CNY 1.
7 billion, is scheduled to start construction in January 2016 and start trial production
in March 2017.
While maintaining a total production capacity of 150,000 units, the company will realize co-line production of C and D platform products, and will have a combined production capacity
of 125,000 C platform models and 25,000 D platform models by 2020.
From the currently known situation, the code name CF16H is the first hybrid car
built by Qoros based on the Qoros CF16 (Qoros 5 SUV).
The car not only inherits Chery's mature TGDI engine, but also will be equipped with a 50kW electric motor, which further reduces energy consumption
while ensuring power performance.
