According to data released by Australia's Clean Energy Regulator (CER), Australia installed 729 MW of rooftop solar in the second quarter of 2021, up 8%
from 677 MW in the same period last year.
However, rooftop solar installations fell 5%
in the second quarter of 2021 compared to 768 MW in the previous quarter.
As of June 2021, Australia's cumulative installed rooftop solar capacity was 14.

According to CER, as of July 2021, 4,856 solar systems with parallel battery storage capacity were installed in the country, with 1,279 installed in New South Wales, followed by South Australia with 1,057.
Australia also added 424 small wind turbines with a total output of 1.
4 MW and 20 hydroelectric turbines
with an output of 51 kW.

over the next decade through $18 billion in new investments in low-emission technologies.
