China Petrochemical News Network reported on April 17 that the Puguang Gas Field successfully implemented the IMU test for the gathering and transportation of sour gas pipelines for the first time, providing strong technical support for the safe operation of the gas field's surface gathering and transportation pipelines.

The Puguang Gas Field is an ultra-deep, high-sulfur, high-pressure, and complex mountainous gas field.

In order to ensure the safety of the ground gathering and transportation system, at the end of 2020, Puguang Branch and Tianjin Zhonghuan Hengcheng Technology Co.

At the beginning of April, the Puguang branch gas production plant began to operate the Puguang 2-3# connecting line to ensure a stable gas supply during the operation.

It is expected that in late April, the gas production plant will complete all IMU inspections for 4 gathering pipelines including P304-303, P304-202, and P302-Terminal.
