Italy has become the preferred supplier for a 2,100 MW renewable electricity transmission project in the United States, supplying the underground high-voltage DC cables

Prysmann will be responsible for installing the HVDC cable system underground, a total of 700 miles of HVDC XLPE-type cables required for a total of 350 miles of connection system, primarily along existing railroad lines connecting a converter station in northern Iowa to a converter station
