    Prudential Industries expands petrochemicals and plastics capacity

    Prudential Industries India announced recently that it plans to increase petrochemicals capacity at its Vadodara plant in India by debottlenecking existing facilities and building new production uni.


    As planned, Prudential Industries will increase the ethylene production capacity of its Vadodara cracker by 8,000 tons/month, bringing the total production capacity to 25,000 tons/mon.


    Prudential Industries said its quarterly EBIT rose 29 percent year-on-year, and its petrochemical business recorded EBIT of 775 billion rupees on sales of 4214 billion rupees, up 13 percent year-on-ye.
