Digital PCR development
Digital PCR (digital PCR, dPCR) is a breakthrough quantitative analysis technology developed in recent years
In 1999, when Vogelstein et al.
Principles of Digital PCR
The standard PCR reaction system is distributed into about 30,000 droplets after the droplets are generated.
Digital PCR can directly calculate the copy number of the target sequence, so accurate absolute quantitative detection can be performed without relying on control samples and standard curves; in addition, since digital PCR only judges the presence/absence of two amplification states when performing result interpretation, Therefore, there is no need to detect the intersection of the fluorescent signal and the set threshold line, and it does not rely on the identification of the Ct value.
Digital PCR application field
◆ Medical and pharmaceutical directions: tumor research; infectious disease research (bacteria, fungi, viruses, mycoplasma); NIPT; organ transplantation monitoring; stem cell research and transplantation monitoring; pharmacogenomics development; biomarker development; quality control of drug production, etc.
