Recently, PowerChina announced that it has been awarded a solar EPC contract
from Vietnam.
It is revealed that the project, awarded by Thai energy company B.
Grimm Power and Vietnamese conglomerate Xuanke Group, will be the largest solar project
in the country when completed.
The 420MW facility is located in Tay Ninh, southwest Vietnam, and is scheduled to commence operations
in June 2019.
The total cost of the project is expected to be approximately US$420 million
.

Grimm aims to increase its generation capacity to 5GW
by 2022.
Sunseap International, a subsidiary of Singapore-based Sunseap Group, recently began construction of a 186MW solar plant
in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam.
